Welcome to the International Conference on Systems Biology of Human Disease 2012

The International Conference on Systems Biology of Human Disease (SBHD) is a transatlantic event and communication platform for scientific exchange between the United States and Germany. It takes place alternately between the two countries. SBHD 2012 is continuing a conference series launched by Peter Sorger and colleagues from Harvard Medical School some years ago. The conference focus is on mammalian systems biology, particularly as it applies to human disease and therapy.

In 2012, the conference is organized by the Helmholtz Alliance on Systems Biology in cooperation with the Council for Systems Biology CSB2 and the Harvard Medical School in Boston as well as the Swiss Initiative in Systems Biology SystemsX.ch.

Also on the schedule is business loans and credit card processing issues for small businesses. These days, many businesses are seeking out alternative financing through techniques such as a structured settlement loan. And all businesses must have the means to take credit card payments. To accomplish this, a business needs to have a merchant account (this is the reason credit card processing is also referred to as merchant services). This is an account established for the sole function of accepting credit card paymentsIt is set up separate from your personal bank account. A merchant account serves as an agreement between a retailer, a merchant bank and a payment processor for the settlement of credit card and debit card dealings.

The ecosystem for credit and debit card processing entails a sophisticated range of members connecting to establish every purchase. All in all, five kinds of players are taking part: high risk credit card processors, issuers, card networks, gateway providers. To conduct a financial transaction, three steps will have to take place: authorization, batching, and funding. Each player in this practice takes a fee off the full volume of a purchase. The balance is deposited in the merchant's account. Obtaining a merchant account will be a complicated experience for nearly all individuals. A respectable processor such as Paramount Payments takes the worry out of the encounter. This page has more on hard money loans.
